Illness Rules Egypt Defender Out Of Nigeria Clash

Egypt left-back Sabry Rahil has been ruled out of Tuesday's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Nigeria due to ill-health.

According to kingfut.com, the Al Ahly player failed to finish his team’s training session on Monday after complaining of dizziness.

The national team’s medical staff later revealed that the 28-year-old player has a sinus infection.

Rahil will now miss Tuesday’s match, after also sitting out the first leg in Kaduna.

Zamalek left-back Hamada Tolba is expected to keep his place in the team.

A win for Egypt against Nigeria will almost seal their place at next year's AFCON in Gabon.

  • I WAS THINKING THE PLAYER IS ONE THAT FEATURED ON TUESDAY NOT KNOWING THAT HE DID NOT EVEN FEATURE IN THAT MATCH. HOW WILL HE CHANGE THEIR SQUAD? THE EGYPTIANS ARE TRICKISH. BECAUSE WE SAID IKEME IS SICK AND CAN NOT FEATURE TODAY, SO THEY COME WITH THEIR OWN VERSION OF SICKNESS TOO. DEM NEVER SEE ANYTHING, THEY WILL BE DISAPPOINTED TODAY. EGYPT 1-3 NIGERIA
