“I’M KING OF THE WORLD”! 14 Memorable Muhammad Ali Quotes

Boxing great Muhammad Ali died on Friday morning aged 74, leaving behind a legacy of not just sporting brilliance but some of the most memorable quotes ever, even outside of boxing.

He taunted opponents with razor-sharp rhymes, comical one-liners and the type of boxing braggadocio that both endeared him to and angered the masses.

Ali was seen as a loudmouth threat to the establishment and left heavyweight rivals like Joe Frazier, Sonny Liston and George Foreman bemused with his sharp wit.

Here are some of the iconic Ali's greatest quotes:

‘‘Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Rumble, young man, rumble.’’ — 1964, before his fight with Sonny Liston.
