Enugu Rangers coach Imama Amapakabo says his side are now close to ending their title drought following Sunday’s 4-0 comprehensive win against title rivals Rivers United, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Flying Antelopes who are looking to win their first title in 32 years moved from third place to first position with the win.
They now have four games, starting from this weekend’s clash against traditional rivals Shooting Stars, to clinch the title.
And Imama reckoned the title is now within their grasps.
“It was no doubt a massive win for us and we can now confidently say the title is within our reach,” the former Enyimba coach told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We now have four tough fixtures ahead of us before the end of the season and I’m sure we are equal to the task.
“This is the time for us to end the title drought as we have laboured so hard since the start of the campaign.
“I hope we will get our reward by winning the title at the end of the day.”
