Cletus Itodo says he can’t wait to step on the pitch for his new side, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.
The former Sunshine Stars player’s move to the Oluyole Warlords has been put on hold as the club failed to register him on time and he will now have to wait until the second half of the season before he can get to play his first competitive game for the club.
Itodo told completesportsnigeria.com that he is desperate to help the club do well in the league, while also expressing disappointment about his inability to represent them at the moment.
“I can’t wait to play my first game for 3SC,” he declared.
“It’s been tough watching my collegues play but I’m happy that I will be able to join them soon.
“My objective is to help the club do well and I will do my best when I’m eligible to play.”
3SC face Taraba United in a week 14 game on Sunday at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.
