BRANISLAV IVANOVIC claims PFA Player of the Season favourite Eden Hazard has been Chelsea’s key man during their rise to the top of the Premier League table.
Hazard has made 46 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, bagging 18 goals in the process.
Like the Belgian, Ivanovic has started every top flight game in an impressive campaign for the right-back.
Skipper John Terry has also drawn praise for his role in Chelsea’s success, along with star striker Diego Costa.
And despite the top-class showings from most of Chelsea’s regular startling line-up, Ivanovic reckons Hazard is the pick of the bunch.
“He is flying, he said. “In my opinion it’s been the best season of his career.
“He’s made a difference every game. All season he has got a lot of kickings but he never complains.
“He’s a hard worker on the pitch. He’s improved massively from last season and for us he has been the most important player.
“I see him every day in training and I’ve played a lot of games with him.
“He’s the guy who when you pass him the ball you just have to leave him alone.
“He will do everything. He’s something different.”
