Iwobi Benched As Arsenal Bounce Back With Bournemouth Win

Arsenal bounced back from their four-match winless streak in the English Premier League with a 2-0 win against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Nigerian youngster Alex Iwobi was an unused substitute.

Mezut Ozil opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 23rd minute off an Olivier Giroud assist.

One minute later, Arsenal made it 2-0 through Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain following an assist from Aaron Ramsey.

Bournemouth came close to halve the deficit but Petr Cech tipped tha ball over the bar.

The win sees Arsenal move up to third on 48 points, behind leaders Leicester and second place Tottenham Hotspur.

Bournemouth are 15th in the league table on 28 points.
