Nigeria Eagles youngster, Alex Iwobi, is set to start in his third UEFA Champions League game this season when Arsenal entertain Bulgarian side PFC Ludogorets Razgrad at the Emirates on Wednesday.
Iwobi was in action for Arsenal in their matchday 1 clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
He also made an appearance against FC Basel on matchday 2.
And looking ahead to the game, Wenger who revealed that there are no injury worries, said he plans to file out the same team that faced Swansea on Saturday.
“Similar to the squad that faced Swansea. There are no [new] injuries,” Wenger said in his press conference on Tuesday.
The French coach hinted that injured duo, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey, are not far away from making a return to the team
He added: “They are close.”
And on Theo Walcott’s recent form and Granit Xhaka’s sending off against Swansea, Wenger said: “He (Walcott) lets the passion come out of his body. He plays with more freedom, lets his heart feelings come out.
“He is less calculating. He plays with more desire. He is less restricted.”
When asked if there was interest in Walcott during the summer, Wenger replied: “I have not spoken to anybody because I was not ready to let him go.
“We are not responsible for the red cards he (Xhaka) got somewhere else.
“He made a foul that could have got him a yellow card. It was not meant to hurt anybody. It was just a late tackle.
“I feel he is intelligent enough to analyse that as well.”
