Iwobi Stars In Arsenal Win, Musa Benched As Leicester Thrash Burnley

Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi provided an assist on Saturday as Arsenal defeated Hull City 4-1 in their Premier League clash at the KCOM Stadium.

The youngster could have had a goal, however, as Alexis Sanchez stuck out a foot to divert Iwobi's goal-bound shot for the opening goal.

Theo Walcott made it 2-0 in the 55th minute after Sanchez had missed a penalty following Jake Livermore's dismissal for handball.

Robert Snodgrass pulled one back for the 10-man hosts in the 79th minute, but Sanchez's second on 83 minutes and Granit Xhaka's screamer in the 90th minute eased Arsenal to victory.

Iwobi, who had an impressive game, was replaced by Mohammed Elneny in the 77th minute.

At the Kingspower Stadium, champions Leicester beat Burnley 3-0 with new striker Islam Slimani scoring his first two goals for the hosts, while Ben Mee completed the scoring with an own goal.

Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa was an unused substitute for Leicester.
