Nigeria winger, Alex Iwobi was handed a starting role but he ended up on a losing side as Arsenal fell to a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City in their English Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
It was Iwobi's 15th appearance for the Gunners in the Premier League this season and he has hit the back of the net only once.
Iwobi was replaced 25 minutes from time by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
His Nigeria teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho was introduced by Manchester City in the 83rd minute for his 17th league appearance of the campaign and failed to add to his three goals tally.
The Citizens, with the win, move into second position, seven points behind leaders Chelsea, while Arsenal dropped to fourth.
