Iwobi’s First EPL Goal Delights Okocha

Former Super Eagles skipper Austin Okocha has congratulated Alex Iwobi after the youngster played brilliantly and scored his very first EPL goal in Arsenal's 2-0 win against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Danny Welbeck put Arsenal in front off an Alexis Sanchez assist.

Iwobi doubled Arsenal's lead after he connected with Hector Bellerin's long cross.

"So pleased with Alexi's performance this afternoon. Delighted he got his first Premier League goal. So proud of him. Well done Ojiogwu," Okocha wrote on his Twitter handle.

On Wednesday, Iwobi made his UEFA Champions League debut in Arsenal's 3-1 defeat by Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
