JOB WELL DONE: How Super Eagles Rated Vs Tanzania

Completesportsnigeria.com’s ADEBOYE AMOSU rates the Super Eagles players after their hard-fought 1-0 win over Tanzania in Uyo on Saturday…

CARL IKEME 6/10
Had little or nothing to do in the game as he was rarely tested by the Tanzanians.

MUSA MOHAMMED 6/10
The right-back put up a solid display in what was his first competitive game for the Super Eagles. He will need to work on his final ball though.

WILLIAM TROOST- EKONG 7/10
A fine performance from the centre- back. Made a few interceptions and formed a good partnership with Leon Balogun at the heart of the Super Eagles defence.

LEON BALOGUN 7/10
Balogun was booked late in game, the only blight in what was an efficient performance from the versatile defender.

ELDERSON ECHIEJILE 6/10
Not one of his best games for the Super Eagles. The left- back offered little going forward but performed his defensive task dutifully.

OGENYI ONAZI 6/10
Shielded the back four well and made forays upfront to support the attack.

MIKEL OBI 8/10
The Chelsea midfielder was his side’s most influential player before his substitution. Mikel was also unlucky not to score in the encounter.

KELECHI IHEANACHO 9/10
The youngster capped a beautiful performance by also scoring the winning goal, a stunning shot from outside the box.

VICTOR MOSES 6/10
Put up a lively performance in the game but fluffled a lot of goal scoring opportunities.

AHMED MUSA 5/10
Once again, Ahmed Musa struggled to impress in the green and white of Nigeria as he posted another disappointing performance.

ODION IGHALO 5/10
The forward failed to replicate his club form on the international scene once again as he laboured without success to get a goal in the game.

SUBSTITUTES
WILFRED NDIDI 5/10
Replaced Mikel in the 63rd minute and did a good job in helping his side maintain their dominance in the game.

BROWN IDEYE 5/10
Returned to the side after a long absence but did little in his cameo appearance.

What we Shall  do including  NFF  is to start  in time to prepar  to avoid  our usual last minites firebregade approch to serius  games  like this. Tanks  we have a new  coach  in mr rohr who is eager  to achieve result. He should be given a free hand to chose  the boys by our big ogas over there at Abuja simple. We still have good  players  here  and over sea  ready  to pray. I believe  we will  qualify if we do the needful.
