Back to form Super Eagles midfielder, Joel Obi would be available for selection tomorrow for the crucial Serie A game involving his club, Internazionale Milan who play host to Genoa at the 82,995-capacity Stadio Guiseppe Meazza in Milan.
Obi, who was sidelined for the better part of last season as a result of injury is fully back to fitness and is gradually regaining his first team place in the coach Roberto Mancini side who would be banking on home support to overrun the invaders from Genoa.
Inter would also be going into this tie buoyed by their 1-1 away draw to league leaders Juventus last Tuesday – a result that has seen them halt their initial downward spiral having not lost a league game in their last three outings. And a win could push the Rossonerris up the league table where they currently occupy the 11th position on the log with 22 points after 17 games. It would be a tough due for Obi and his teammates as Genoa – who are 5th on the log with 27 points will be out to ensure they don’t go down the league ladder.
