New Torino signing Joel Obi has vowed to give his all on the pitch for the club after he completed his €2.4m move to the Serie A outfit.
Obi ended his six-year stint with Inter Milan on Thursday, penning a four-year deal with the Turin outfit and says he relishes the new adventure with Giampiero Ventura’s side.
The 24-year-old took to Instagram to thank all Inter fans and members of staff of the youth team, from where joined the first team in 2010, for the role they played in his development.
“Thanks to all staff of FC International … from the youth team to the first team. A big thanks to the fans for these wonderful years with ups and downs, where I grew up so much as a man and player,” the Nigerian midfielder wrote.
“Forza Inter, love her now. I expect a new adventure where I promise to give my all on the field … with humility and utmost professionalism … now # # # only ForzaToro # teamjo20.”
The Nigerian international made 71 appearances for the Nerazzurri, since breaking into the first team in 2010 but could only make 11 league appearances for Inter last season. He is expected to join his new team in pre-season training on July 8.
