Former Super Eagles skipper Nwankwo Kanu has stated that how far the Flying Eagles will go will be determined by the outcome of their game against Brazil. The Flying Eagles take on the Junior Selecao of Brazil in their first game at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in the eraly hours of Monday.
Speaking with Sports Radio 88.9 Brila FM, Kanu expressed his delight that the Nigerian youngsters will be playing Brazil in their first game. "
It is a good thing," the 1993 Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets star said. "If they want to be the best then they must beat the best side and I believe Brazil are one of the best teams. I believe if they can beat Brazil, then the tournament is theirs."
Aside from Brazil, the Flying Eagles will tackle North Korea and Hungary. The Manu Garba-led side emerged champions at the AYC in Senegal.
