Kanu Hails Oliseh, Eagles For Crucial Win Over Niger

Ex-Super Eagles Captain Nwankwo Kanu has praised the Home Eagles after their 4-1 win over Niger in their first Group C match of the ongoing 2016 Championship for African Nations (CHAN) in Rwanda, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.

The former Inter Milan and Arsenal forward tweeted his excitement over the emphatic and convincing victory, congratulating Coach Sunday Oliseh and the entire team for their efforts in ensuring Nigeria won her first game in the tournament designed for players plying their trades on the continent..

According to the former African Footballer of the Year, winning is the way to start a tournament.

Kanu wrote on his twitter handle: "Congrats Oliseh and our team. That's the way to play your first game so let's keep it going and be focused till the end of the competition."
