Former Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu, has applauded Arsenal players after they beat Manchester United 3-0 in Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Emirates.
Reacting to the win, Kanu who featured for Arsenal during his playing career, praised the players for their approach to the game.
“Work done, well done Arsenal, that’s the way to play a big game. Well done boys. All Arsenal fans are happy and hope your clubs won so you happy?” Kanu wrote on his Twitter handle, moments after the match.
Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring as early as the sixth minute before Mezut Ozil made it 2-0 a minute later.
Then in the 20th minute, Sanchez made it 3-0 after unleashing a right-foot shot which beat David De Gea.
The win places Arsenal second in the table with 16 points, two points off Manchester City.
