Watford striker Odion Ighalo says Championship side Nottingham Forest will not be underrated when they play at the City Ground in Saturday’s FA Cup fifth round tie.
Dougie Freedman’s side sit 11th in the Championship and are unbeaten for over two months but have drawn seven of their last ten league games and Ighalo who may be rested by coach Quique Sanchez Flores for the game spoke witn Watford’s Hornets PlayerHD.
“We want to give our best in every tournament we play in. In the PL we have 32 points and need eight more to be guaranteed safety in the league for next season,” he said.
“For me we value the FA Cup just as we do with the league. Some teams don’t win the league but end up with winning the FA Cup as
the only silverware they have which for us will be a good one.”
The former Udinese star man also hopes he club can rewrite their FA Cup history of 30 years ago by making it to the final of the competition.
Ighalo has scored 14 goals in the league for the Hornets who are 10th on the log.
