Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has declared that his team is ready to deliver as they start their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign against Chad next Saturday in Kaduna.
The three-time African champions need to win to ignite their campaign, as well as to restore hope in the heart of many Nigerians, and Keshi admits that he has been seeing encouraging signs ahead of the fixture.
"The boys are working hard and I am confident ahead of the game," he told completesportsnigeria.com.
"We know what to expect and we are desperate to start on a convincing note against Chad."
Meanwhile China-based Aaron Samuel is expected in the Super Eagles camp in Kaduna after he featured for his Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F in their goalless draw at home to Beijing Guoan on Friday.
Samuel who has scored twice in eight games was yellow carded in the 82nd minute.
