Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, says Chelsea are still a difficult side to play despite the Blues’ poor form.
Klopp however says he will be targeting a win against the league champions..
When asked if this is good time to be facing Chelsea during his press conference ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, Klopp said: “Ramires, Matic are great players. Cahill and Terry from set-plays are big guys. I’m not sure it’s easier now to play Chelsea.
“You think Tottenham was easy? Southampton was not easy! Do Chelsea players still know how to play football? Of course they do.”
Klopp then went on to have a sly dig at Jose Mourinho, who has had a few run-ins with the media and officials lately.
The German added: “When I was in Germany, Mourinho and I sometimes sent messages. I have respect for his work. He’s a nice guy.
“If you’re not a journalist or a referee he can be a nice guy.”
Chelsea have been in poor form of late as they occupy the 15 position in the league table.
And during the week, they crashed out of the Capital One Cup to 10-man Stoke on penalty shootout.
Klopp said his experience in big games will see them through.
“It’s difficult to play against Chelsea but it’s not impossible to win.
“We have to respect the quality of Chelsea. Let’s try everything and play well.
“It’s a big match but I’ve been in football many years and I’ve had some big matches.
“We have the chance to improve our situation and that’s what we want to do.”
He stated that he will be ready for any style of play the Blues will be coming up with.
“I don’t know anything about (Mourinho’s) methods but I try to understand how Chelsea play.”REVERSE ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION Within 3Days And Make Her Happy Again!! Guaranteed!!! All NATURAL! No Side-Effects! Click Here!now.
