Algeria national team coach Georges Leekens has pledged that the Fennecs will “get at” the Super Eagles' “suspect” defence when the two sides meet at the Akwa Ibom stadium on Saturday reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Belgian tactician is determined to kick-start his reign as boss of the Foxes with a win after making a return to the team after 13 years.
With the return of Leon Balogun who missed the win against Zambia in Ndola, Leekens added that the Super Eagles can be vulnerable in defence.
But he admits his side must be alert against the rampaging attack of the Nigerian side.
"We will mark them, it is imperative." Leekens said, according to Le Buteur.
"To achieve a good result there, we have to score one or more goals. Them, they will rush to the attack.
"We have to be up early in the game and then operate against attacks by Nigeria."
