The League Management Company has expelled Giwa FC from the 2015/ 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League season, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Jos Elephants were banished to Ilorin following crowd trouble that marred their matchday 12 fixture against Rangers at the Rwang Pam Stadium.
They however failed to honour the three games in Ilorin against Wikki Tourists (MD 14), Akwa United (MD 16) and Enyimba (MD 18).
The LMC ruled that the club failed to give an acceptable reason for failing to honour the games.
The league body further stated that Giwa FC’s letter to have their game against Enyimba rescheduled failed to meet NPFL provision requesting for a shift in game 72 hours before the game holds.
The club will also pay a fine of N250.000 as expenses for stadium hire, security and other logistics incurred for the game against Enyimba.
For failing to honour the game against Enyimba, Giwa FC will pay a fine of N10m.
The club has a right to appeal or accept the decision within 48 hours.
