The League Management Company has rescheduled fixtures involving three clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, who have continental engagements this weekend, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The trio of NPFL champions, Enyimba; last season's runners-up, Warri Wolves; and Nasarawa United will be participating in the return legs of their CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup First Round fixtures.
Nasarawa United and Enyimba were scheduled to play their outstanding fixtures from match day two on Wednesday, March 16, but travelled late Tuesday night for their continental games.
The matches; Enyimba versus Shooting Stars, FC IfeanyiUbah versus Nasarawa United and Wikki Tourists versus Warri Wolves will now hold on March 30.
However, the match day 8 fixtures involving the clubs and which were to hold on Wednesday, March 23 have been shifted by one day to March March 24 to allow the clubs enough to rest after their continental engagements.
The March 24 fixtures are: Nasarawa United vs Ikorodu United, Akwa United vs Warri Wolves and Enyimba vs Plateau United.
The LMC also confirmed that the mid-season break will hold from May 23 to June 4.
