Super Eagles assistant coach, Jean Francois Loscuito is impressed with the side's performance in Thursday's friendly game against Rising Stars Academy, stating that the players have improved since they started camping ahead of the African Nations Championship, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Eagles won the game against the Amateur side 3-0 courtesy of goals by Tunde Adeniji, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu and Samson Gbadebo.
The Belgian who is temporarily in charge of the team following the absence of head coach of the side, Sunday Oliseh due to illness lauded the team for their cohesion and technical ability.
"We are happy not because of the scoreline, but the performance of the players," the former ASFA Yenaga of Burkina Faso coach told Brila FM.
"The players play as a team as their was cohesion in their play and they also show good technical ability.
"Most of the players have improved their game and we now know how we will set up in Rwanda."
The Eagles are expected to jet out to Pretoria, South Africa on Saturday where they will play two friendly games against Angola and Cote d'lvoire on January 6 and January 10 respectively.
