Super Eagles assistant coach, Jean Francios Loscuito, has tipped Odion Ighalo to win the top scorer award in the English Premier League this season, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Watford hitman has netted 14 times in the English top flight this term.
Only Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) and Romelu Lukaku (Everton) have scored more goals in the Premier League in the current campaign than the former Granada of Spain forward.
Loscuito backed the 26- year old to continue his fine form and emerge the leading marksman at the end of the campaign.
"He (Ighalo) is in great form at the moment and with the way he is going at the moment, he is going to score a lot of goals for Watford this season," the Belgian coach told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I strongly believe he can beat the likes of Vardy, Lukaku and the other top strikers in the EPL to the top scoers award."
