Lukaku, Benteke Score As Palace Hold Everton

Everton failed to go second in the English Premier League after the Toffees drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Friday night.
The draw also ended Palace’s three-game winning streak in the EPL.
After a ding dong affair in the opening 30 minutes Romelu Lukaku opened scoring with a sublime free-kick from 20 yards in the 35th minute for his fifth strike of the season.
It was his first free-kick goal in English football.
But his compatriot Christian Benteke restored parity with a superb header before the break.
The Belgian forward leaped way above Seamus Coleman to meet Joel Ward’s cross and power a header across Maarten Stekelenburg and into the far corner.
Palace almost claimed a fourth straight win but Damien Delaney’s header was ruled out for offside.
The draw moved the Toffees up to third place, four points behind leaders Manchester City.
