Maikaba Dumps Wikki, Set to Join Abia Warriors

Abdu Maikaba  is to set join Abia Warriors after quitting his post as head coach of Wikki Tourists, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The former Enyimba coach, Completesportsnigeria.com learnt, dumped Wikki after the management of the club failed to offer him an improved deal.

Maikaba led Wikki to a fourth-placed finish in the Glo Premier League last season.

Abia Warriors are in the hunt for a new coach after severing ties with their former handler, Ladan Bosso, at the end of last season.

Though he also been linked with Sunshine Stars, Maikaba appears to be the firm favourite  to land the Abia Warriors top coaching job.
