Malaga’s Uche Targets Victory Against Former Club Granada

By Johnny Edward:

Malaga's Nigerian forward Ikechukwu Uche is targeting a win against his former club Granada in Friday's La Liga clash at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.

A much-improved second half of the season has left Malaga in La Liga’s mid-table, 11 points clear of the relegation places with eight games remaining.

But Uche, who has made two appearances since joining the club in January, warned his teammates that they face a tough Granada side battling for survival.

"Our dream is always to win and think about the next game we will play. Think beyond the game makes no sense, what we want to do is win games," Uche said in a pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

"The other day (against Espanyol) we tried and it was not possible, but a point is always good. Obviously we want to win, but there is also an opponent who does not make you victory possible.

"But we think about the next game, which will not be easy; any game we play will be tough, but we're psyched to approach the game

"Maybe it will be more difficult than against Espanyol. It is a team that is fighting to avoid falling into the relegation zone and will not be easy, we know and we will prepare well for what awaits us there.

"We believe in victory, nothing else is going to be difficult but we will do everything possible to get the points at stake ."

Uche starred for Granada in the 2011/2012 and scored three goals for the relegation battlers during his loan spell at the club. the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
