Ertswhile Nigeria international Tijani Babangida has quit his role as chairman of Glo Premier League side Taraba United, following the confirmation of his appointment by Maltese side FC Mosta as their new technical adviser, reports completesportsnigeria.com.
FC Mosta, who also have in their squad two Nigerian players – Haruna Babangida, who incidentally is Babangida's younger brother, and Fortune Udoh – made the announcement on Wednesday.
The club announced the signing by posting a picture of Babangida displaying their jersey alongside two officials with the statement 'welcome to the club'
He will be assisted by Ivan Zammit who will serve as coach for the forthcoming season.
