A brace from Sadio Mane gave Southampton a 3-2 comeback Premier League win against Liverpool at St. Mary’s on Sunday.
Graziano Pelle got Southampton’s other goal while Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge got Liverpool’s goals.
Coutinho put Liverpool ahead when he opened the scoring in the 17th minute.
Sturridge made it 2-0 for Liverpool when he found the back of the net on 22 minutes.
Five minutes into the second half, substitute Mane missed a penalty after Martin Skrtel fouled Graziano Pelle.
Mane made amends from his earlier penalty miss by scoring for Southampton in the 64th minute.
Pelle drew Southampton level, scoring in the 83rd minute.
Then three minutes later, Mane secured the win for the Saints when he scored to make it 3-2.
Southampton are now seventh on 47 points while Liverpool drop to ninth on 44 points.
