Martins: I’m Ready To Help Young Eagles Grow

By Richard Jideaka, Abuja:

Returning Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martin has expressed willingness to help the young players in the national team grow by sharing his wealth of experience with them, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.

The Seattle Sounders FC of USA forward said he was happy to be back after two years absence from the Eagles, adding that he will always answer and contribute his quota to the growth of his country's football

"When I came, I saw a lot of young players who I believe are good and talented to merit being in the Super Eagles of Nigeria. I will do my best to help my country and the young players to develop," Martins said on Wednesday.

When asked if he would mark his return to Super Eagles with a goal, he said what matters most is victory but was quick to add that if the chance comes to score, he would take it gladly.
