MFM FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has expressed his disappointment following his side’s 1-1 draw against Enyimba in Wednesday’s week 16 tie in the Nigeria Professional Football League, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Olukoya Boys failed to record a win against one of the heavyweights in the NPFL for the third time this season.
They earlier played draws against Rangers and Kano Pillars.
Ilechukwu praised his charges for their effort but felt they deserved more from the game.
“Sometimes in football your best players may run out of form and you need to keep psyching them up to adjust,” Ilechukwu told the clubs’s official website.
“I’m not happy because we created chances and it’s very painful that we failed to convert them.
“With their name and the quality they have in their squad, I think the result is okay.
“But as a coach I want to win as many as games as possible.”
MFM FC are occupying the eighth position in the table. They will host Niger Tornadoes at home on Sunday.
