Mikel Urges Fans’ Support For Eagles Against Algeria



Skipper John Mikel Obi has called on Nigerian football fans to give the Super Eagles their full support in this weekend's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria.


The Super Eagles Group B clash against Algeria is billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, November 12.


The Gernot Rohr-led Eagles are two points ahead of Algeria who were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Cameroon in their match day-1 clash.


Mikel who is yet to feature for Chelsea this season states that he has set his sight on playing against the Algerians. 


Mikel writes  on his Twitter handle:v"Looking forward to playing at home on Saturday … as always, we will need your passionate support."


Mikel led the Super Eagles to a 2-1 away win against Zambia in Ndola.
