3- Musa Mohammed fouled. The Eagles are threatening but their effort foiled. Awoniyi’s shot blocked. Nigeria getrs first corner but a header gfoes wide off target
5- Senegal’s number 14 bears down goal but shoots off target with the goal at his mercy
7- Bernard Bulbwa of Nigeria caught offside. Free kick to Senegal but dealt well by Nigerian defence
8- GOAL! Taiwo Awoniyi scores Nigeria’s first goal. The striker chases down the ball, beating an onrushing keeper and sweeps home the ball
11- GOAL!! Taiwo Awoniyi scores again. The goal is similar to the first. The striker shrugs off the challenge of keeper and defender to score

14- free kick to Senegal. A half volley by the number 14 goes too high16- Musa’s is too tame, gathered by Sy in Senegal post.

18- The Eagles win a free kick but their exchange of passes almost got them into trouble in their penalty area

20- Throw-in Nigeria. They are giving away the ball rather too much

22. Souleymane Sarr’s shot is wayward, reprieve to Nigeria

23- Nigeria’s keeper, Olorunleke Ojo kicks ball for corner but the chance is again wasted with a shot off target

26-  GOAL! Senegal reduces the score, Sidy Sarr (number 8) capitalising on uncertainty in the Flying Eagles defdending to score a left-footed effort

30- Senegal’s shooting has been abysmal. A comical defensive clearance hands Nigeria a cornet but Musa’s effort could not utilised by Ifeanyi Matthew

32- Nigeria gives away possession but thankfully now have a goal kick.

78- A strong defensive clearance by Senegal. Awoniyi was ready to pull the trigger.

    Kudos to the guys they did well .they are able to keep the ball on their foot.but the problem they have in that match was the attacking expect ,they wasted lot of chances which their coach must be corrected before the next game.

  3. Really happy they were able to defeat the Senegalese, at least, they started on a brighter note. I believe they will win the trophy. Kudos to the Manu Garba boys.
