Olympiacos forward, Brown Ideye, has expressed regret over the injury which forced him off during Wednesday's night Champions League win against Arsenal, although he is happy his side won, reports completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigeria international was replaced at half-time at the Emirates by Alfred Finnbogason who eventually scored the winner for the Greek side as they shocked Arsenal 3-2 at the Emirates.
Ideye took to Twitter after the game to express his disappointment with the injury and joy at seeing his side win the encounter.
"Sad about my injury, but happy we got what we came for which is three points," the former Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine striker wrote on his Twitter handle.
The win ensured Olympiacos recovered from their opening day defeat to Bayern Munich and put them in a good position to qualify for the knockout rounds of the competition.
Ideye joined Olympiacos from English Premier League side, West Bromwich Albion, in the summer after he struggled to justify the huge money spent on him by the Baggies.
