Former Super Falcons star, Maureen Mmadu, has charged the team to go all out for victory against Equatorial Guinea in the second leg of the Olympic qualifier.
The Falcons were forced to a 1-1 draw by Equatorial Guinea in the first leg played in Abuja.
In a chat with completesportsnigeria.com, Mmadu tasked the team’s coach, Christopher Danjuma, to come up with the right tactics to overcome their opponents.
“They just have to go there and give everything inside the field, and the coach should come up with a very good formation that can help win the game for us,” she told completesportsnigeria.com.
“He has played them before and I believe he has studied the game and knows what to do in the return leg. And also he must try and motivate the players to do the job.”
And on the issue of coaching the women’s team in the future, Mmadu who currently coaches in Norway, stated that she is open to the offer.
“It’s up to God and NFF to decide who and what they want and up to Nigerians too. If they feel I deserve it, and if God says it’s my time, fine,” she added.
