By Adeboye Amosu:
Nigeria midfielder, Usman Mohammed, has finally linked up with Portuguese side, Uniao de Madeira, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former FC Taraba captain joined another Nigerian, Shehu Abdullahi, at the modest side.
The versatile midfielder was close to securing a move to Norwegian club Valerenga early in the year, but pulled out of the move to represent Nigeria at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
He featured in all three games as the home-based Super Eagles exited the competition at the group stage.
Mohammed was part of Nigeria’s U-23 side that won the Africa U-23 Nations Cup in Senegal last year.
