Stoke City forward Victor Moses says he is desperate to showcase his talent over the final seven games of the season and help the Potters secure another record-breaking Premier League finish.
The Nigerian international has made a major impact during his season-long loan spell at Stoke City, netting four times in 22 appearances in all competitions.
The 24-year-old has endured several injury setbacks however, with a six-week absence at the turn of the year proving a particular frustration to the lively forward.
According to stokecityfc.com, speaking ahead of this weekend’s trip to West Ham United, Moses has declared himself fit and available for action and signalled his ambition of helping the side end the campaign in style.
“I’ve really enjoyed myself at the Club, I’ve played regular football and have had a smile on my face, which is important to me,” he told.
“Obviously, coming here and playing games was what I wanted to do and thankfully, for the best part, I have been able to do that.
“I won’t say it hasn’t been frustrating at times, with the injuries I have picked up, because it has, but thankfully I am feeling really good and strong at the moment.
“I have settled in well here and I think I have performed pretty well, but I am convinced there is still more inside of me and I want to show that over the final weeks of the season.
“I have a lot of belief in myself and in the team, and there is no reason why we can’t have a good run of results and finish in a really good position.”
Having suffered three successive league defeats Moses says there would be no better place to kick-off an upturn in fortunes than at the Boleyn Ground.
The Potters let slip a two-goal cushion against Sam Allardyce’s side earlier in the season with the on-loan Chelsea man being highlighted on Match of the Day for his defensive misgivings.
“I came in for a bit of criticism after the match because I was out of position a little bit, but I have worked on that in training and can say that it won’t happen again,” he added.
“It’s important that as a team we don’t make the same mistakes in this game as we did in the reverse fixture.
“We were 2-0 up and looked really comfortable, but maybe we showed too much ambition in chasing a third goal and got caught out twice in quick succession.
“It was a disappointment at the time, but we are over that now and all we are focussing on is going down to London and hopefully coming back with all three points.”Watch The Premier League Live!! with EXPRESSVPN the #1 Trusted Name in VPN
