—Omeruo, Lawal Cautioned; Ogbeche, Success Fire Blanks; Otubanjo Is Top Scorer In Austria Third League

By Nurudeen Obalola and Johnny Edward:

Super Eagles winger Victor Moses was in fine form again on Saturday as he scored one of the goals in West Ham’s shock 2-1 Premier League win over leaders Manchester City.
Moses’ compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho came on for Aleksandr Kolarov with five minutes to go as City chased an equaliser.
Moses had shone on his West Ham debut on Monday when he helped the London club defeat Newcastle 2-0 and he got his side’s first goal on Saturday.
The Nigeria star picked the ball up on the edge of the City ’18’ and fired off a low shot that beat Joe Hart in the sixth minute.
The visitors doubled their lead on 31 minutes, after Winston Reid missed a chance from a corner, before Pedro Obiang recovered the ball and found Diafra Sakho to finish from close range.
Kevin De Bryune pulled one back for City late in the first half, but despite the league leaders’ best efforts, West Ham held on for another famous away win.
The Hammers have already beaten Arsenal and Liverpool away from home this season.
In Spain, Isaac Success fired blanks in his fourth La Liga game for Granada who slumped to a lone goal defeat away to Real Madrid.
Success has scored once this season.
In Holland, former Super Eagles striker Bartholomew Ogbeche played all 90 minutes for SC Cambuur in their goalless draw at home to FC Twente that handed starting roles to the duo of Chinedu Ede and Michael Olaitan.
Ogbeche was replaced by Valmir Berisha at half-time while Ede made way for Tim Hoelscher in stoppage time.
The duo of Kenneth Omeruo and Raheem Lawal were both yellow carded in Eskisehirspor’s 2-0 loss to Kasimpasa on Saturday.
In Belgium Joseph Akpala failed to add to his goal tally in Saturday’s draw involving Oostende and ‎Kortijk.
In Austria, former U-23 Eagles forward Yusuf Otubanjo remains the top scorer in the Austrian third league after scoring in FC Blau-Weiss Linz’s 6-1 win over SC Weiz.
Otubanjo, who played for the Nigeria U-23s in 2011, scored his side’s equaliser after they went behind and then assisted the fourth goal.
The 23-year-old now has 14 goals in nine games, making him the top scorer in the Ausrian third tier.
