Super Eagles forward Victor Moses was the star of the show and was on target as Chelsea came from a goal down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League on Saturday, ending their London rivals' unbeaten run to the season.
It was Moses' third league goal for Chelsea this season with all of them coming at Stamford Bridge.
The Nigeria was voted man of the match for his second straight game after being named the best player for Chelsea's 1-0 win at Middlesbrough last weekend.
Christian Eriksen gave Tottenham the lead before goals from Pedro Rodriguez and Moses secured the hard-fought win for Chelsea.
It was Chelsea's seventh straight win since they lost 3-0 to Arsenal.
With the win, Chelsea go back to the top in the league table on 31 points, one point ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City who are second and third respectively.
Tottenham started the stronger and almost went ahead in the ninth minute through Eric Dier from a free-kick but his effort went narrowly over the bar.
Tottenham deservedly went in front in the 11th minute through Eriksen who let fly a left-foot volley off an assist from Dele Alli.
And on the dot of 45 minutes of the first half, Pedro drew Chelsea level as he unleased a curler from the edge of Tottenham's 18 yard box.
In the 51st minute Moses put Chelsea in front after he finished off a Diego Costa assist.
A few minutes later Marcos Alonso had a glorious chance to extend Chelsea lead but blazed his effort over the bar.
