Chelsea continued their impressive Premier League winning streak as they secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday.
The only goal of the game was scored by Diego Costa (his 10th league goal of the season) from a corner with four minutes remaining in the first half.
It was Chelsea’s sixth straight win since their 3-0 defeat against Arsenal.

Super Eagles forward Victor Moses was in action and was impressive again before going off for Branislav Ivanovic on 90 minutes.
Chelsea had the first real chance in the 28th minute through Pedro Rodriguez but his close-range effort was tipped over the bar by Victor Valdes.
In the 36th minute Alvaro Negredo went close for Middlesbrough only to see his header from the near post go just wide.
Costa eventually put Chelsea in front on 41 minutes, volleying the ball into the net from Eden Hazard’s corner after Middlesbrough defenders froze.
Pedro had a very good chance to double Chelsea’s lead on 63 minutes but hit his strike against the cross bar.
In the 75th minute Adams Traore pounced on a mistake by N’Golo Kante but couldn’t keep his shot from the edge of Chelsea’s box as his effort went over the bar.
Three minutes later Thibaut Courtois was called to action as he denied Negredo who hit a solid shot.
