By James Agberebi:
Victor Moses has expressed sadness that he will not be able to play against DR Congo and Cameroon in the team's upcoming international friendly games.
Moses, in a letter to the Nigeria Football Federation, through the Eagles administrator, Enebi Achor, said he was pulling out in a precautionary move against aggravating an existing injury.
The West Ham player however stressed that he will always give his best whenever he is invited to the Eagles.
"Unfortunately I'm not fully fit and so can't go with Nigeria this week but want to say I'm proud to be Nigerian and love my country," Moses tweeted on Monday.
"I will always give 100% whenever I play for my country and thanks for all your support."
The Eagles will take on DR Congo on Thursday before facing old foes Cameroon on Sunday.
