Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claims he will be back in the dugout next season.
Mourinho adds that fans will know his next move by the end of the current campaign.
Mourinho has been out of work since leaving Chelsea in December following the club’s disastrous start to their title defence and, after initially saying he was keen on returning to football as soon as possible, later insisted he would prefer to wait until the summer to begin a new challenge.
The former Porto coach, 53, has been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent months and, more recently, his former side Real Madrid.
“I can almost guarantee you that I’ll be back working this summer,” Mourinho told Portuguese newspaper O Jogo. “I’ve good offers on the table.
“It’s a matter of thinking, to come to a good decision and finalise it. In the summer, at the end of the season, everyone will know what my next club will be.
“One thing is certain, my future won’t be at Estoril or Pacos, because they’re both having great seasons and won’t change manager.
“I’ll take my ideas to where they are wanted. I want to be at a place where I’m truly wanted.
“After a few months to recharge my batteries, I’ll be ready to go with everything I have to give.
“I want to work at a club with responsibility, in a hard league, where there’re no easy objectives. That doesn’t leave many options.”
