The future of Chelsea’s Nigerian star Victor Moses depends on Jose Mourinho according, to Stoke City executive Tony Scholes.
Mark Hughes wants Moses back at the Britannia next season – either on loan again or in a permanent deal – but Scholes says it is a call yet to be decided by both parties.
“It’s Chelsea’s prerogative,” he was quoted on the mirror.co.uk. “They haven’t decided what they are going to do with Victor and whether or not they want to keep him. We will wait and see on that one.”
“He’s got pace, ability, can retain possession and is powerful on the ball,” he said.
“He hasn’t had as much game time as his talent deserves, but if he plays like he did against Portsmouth then he will get a lot of game time while he is here.” Hughes admitted.
Moses ended the season with 19 league starts in all; more than he managed in the previous two seasons combined at Stamford Bridge and Anfield scoring three goals.
