Musa, Anichebe Fire Blanks As Leicester Draw, Liverpool Go Top

By James Agberebi:

Musa came off the bench to replace Algeria's Riyad Mahrez on 68 minutes.

Leicester's first goal was scored by Mahrez from the penalty spot on 34 minutes.

With the draw, Leicester are now  winless in their last four EPL games.

At Anfield, Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe failed to add to his three league goals as Liverpool beat a hard fighting  Sunderland 2-0.

Liverpool's goals were scored by substitute Divock Origi in the 75th and James Milner in the 90th minute from the penalty spot.

Liverpool however suffered a setback on 34 minutes as Philippe Coutinho was stretched off injured.

The Reds are now temporarily top in the league on 30 points.
