Ahmed Musa scored his first ever goal for Leicester City in the English Premier League on Saturday in their 3-1 home win over Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Shinji Okazaki and Christian Fuchs were also on target for Leicester City.
Musa who made his third start of the EPL campaign opened scoring in the 42nd minute firing in a volley from the edge of the box as the Foxes sealed their third win of the season.
Okazaki doubled the lead in the 64th minute, hitting the ball home from inside the 18-yard box after a Palace attempt to clear a Leicester attack from the left flank fell to him.
Christian Fuchs put Leicester 3-0 up with a sweetly-struck volley on the edge of the penalty area after a headed clearance from Palace, in the 80th minute.
Crystal Palace pulled one back five minutes later, Yohan Cabaye finishing off a low Wilfried Zaha cross from the right.
Buoyed by that goal, the away team piled pressure on Leicester, and Christian Benteke missed a golden chance, fluffing a one-on-one with Kasper Schemeichel.
The very last chance of the game fell to Riyad Mahrez, but he went for power over placement when faced with Steve Mandanda in the six-yard box, and the outcome was poor.
It was his Musa's appearance for Claudio Ranieri's side this season and he was replaced by Demarai Gray in the 81st minute.
At the Emirates, Alex Iwobi returned to Arsenal's starting line up as the Gunners were held to a 0-0 draw by Middlesbrough, preventing Arsene Wenger's men from a seventh straight league win.
