Super Eagles stars and other Nigerian players overseas made significant impact in their clubs' matches on Sunday.
Eagles forward, Anthony Ujah was on target for Werder Bremen, who came from a goal down to beat Schalke 3-1.
Ujah, scored on 89 minutes, to make it 3-1 for Bremen. Florian Grillitsch and Claudio Pizzaro, were the other scorers for Bremen.
Ujah, has now scored seven Bundesliga goals in 18 appearances.
In Turkey, Nigerian player, John Chibuike, bagged a brace for Gaziantepspor, but they still lost 3-2 at home to Bursaspor.
Chibuike, has now scored five league goals in 18 appearances for Gaziantepspor this season.
Super Eagles midifielder, John Mikel Obi, featured for Chelsea, who pip Arsenal 1-0 in the London derby at the Emirates.
Obi, saw 90 minutes of action, while youngster, Alex Iwobi, was not listed for the game.
In the Italian Serie A, Super Eagles assistant captain, Ogenyi Onazi, was an unused substitute, as Lazio thrashed visiting Chievo Verona 4-1.
Scorers for Lazio include Antonio Candreva (brace), Danilo Cataldi and Balde Keita.
Still in Italy, Nigerian youngster, Umar Sadiq, was introduced for Mohammed Salah on 90 minutes in Roma's 1-0 away loss to Juventus.
Sadiq has scored two Serie A goals for Roma this current campaign.
Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, featured from the start for Gent, in their 3-0 away win against Standard Liege, in Belgium.
Simon, later made way for Gustav Wikheim on 90 minutes.
In Turkey, Super Eagles defender, Godfrey Oboabona, played for 90 minutes, but ended up on the losing side following Fenebahce 2-1 win.
And in Scotland, Juwon Oshaniwa, was benched for 90 minutes as 10-man Hearts, held Hamiltons to a goalless draw.
