Nasarawa Coach, Dogo Rues Federation Cup Final Defeat

Nasarawa United coach, Kabiru Dogo  is disappointed to see his team lose the chance of winning their first Federation Cup title, reports


The Solid Miners fell to a 5-4 penalty shootout defeat against FC IfeanyiUbah in the final at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on Sunday.


Nasarawa United also missed out on the chance of picking a CAF Confederations Cup ticket.


Dogo who was looking to win his first silverware as a coach however praised his players for their spirited performance in the final.


"It's always sad when you lose  in a big final like the Federation Cup," the former Kwara United coach told


"It was a tough match that could have gone either way, and I must commend my players for their fight.
