French publication Le Monde on has reported that Manchester City and France midfielder Samir Nasri is involved in the recent blackmail case that concerns Lyon and French star Mathieu Valbuena.
The skilful midfielder granted the French newspaper an interview and spoke extensively about the case that also had two other French internationals, Djibril Cisse and Karim Benzema, being questioned by the authorities.
Now reports have emerged out of France to suggest that Nasri has a case to answer too.
Le Monde informs that the 28-year-old star offered to play the role of intermediary between Valbuena and the blackmailers.
Benzema had been arrested and questioned over his involvement in the sextape incident although his lawyer and as well as club, Real Madrid, insist their client and player is innocent of any complicity in the case.
Blackmailers had allegedly contacted the Madrid star though the police are still investigating his involvement in the plot.
