3SC TO RETURN TO LEKAN SALAMI STADIUM

Contractor Sure Of February Completion Date
The refurbishment of Lekan Salami Sports Complex embarked upon by Oyo State government which led to the self banishment for Oluyole Warriors,3SC, to MKO Abiola Stadium, Ogun State from its traditional home ground will soon be over, considering the submission of the contractor that is handling the project.
The Abuja based Sports Reform firm has confirmed that 3SC will be playing the remaining of its home matches in the current season at the Lekan Salami stadium, Ibadan februar ending.
Tosin Oladunjoye, the project engineer and Tomiwa Bickersteth, the project coordinator explained tat the first phase of the job which includes pitch and tartan rehabilitation has reached over 95% compleion.
“We are through with the top face excavation, we are through with the soft base soil, what we are doing now is the canal,which is the drainages, for draining surface water.
“Of course,We are almost through with this, except for the pipes, we are almost through with the excavations, we are just waiting for the pipes because they are imported”,Oladunjoye said.
