.Naze Millionaires Blame League woes on Loyalty To Eagles Coach
Premier League side, Heartland of owerri have put their season's poor run on the door step of the Naze Millionaires players loyalty to former handler and current Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia.
Chief Fan Ndubuoke, Chief Executive Officer of the 2009 CAF Champions League finalists castigated the players for what he described as divided loyalty and total lack of commitment.
"Most of our players have one of their legs here and the other in the national teams",Ndubuoke, a former national SWAN President and NFA Board member snapped .
"Whenever they are invited to the National teams they play with all their hearts but when they are back to us they don't put up such commitment".
Heartland are currently going through their worst domestic top flight campaign with only one point from away fixtures since the start of the season.
Even on their home ground they struggle to hold their ground a situation that pitches the once dreaded side with stark reality of relegation.
"You see most of these players were recruited by coach Samson Siasia. As soon as Siasia left for National assignment they seem to lose thir love and commitment for the club.
"The club is being sustained by the few players we recruited during the last transfer window. But I assure you we are not going to be relegated, never",Ndubuoke sounded.
The situation clearly points to a looming massive clear out of players from the fold if the team eventually survives the drop.
"You don't cross the bridge until you come to it. The season is still on and there are still about eight or nine games to go.We are fighting hard to retain our status in the Premier league and after that we can talk about other things",he concluded.
